Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the prettysmart mobile application and the pretty-smart.app website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

Using the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own studying.

Your content

You keep ownership of the decks and flashcards you create. You grant us the limited license we need to store, sync and display that content back to you across your devices. You are responsible for the content you upload and must not upload anything unlawful or infringing.

AI-generated flashcards

AI features generate flashcards automatically from your notes, documents, images and audio. AI output can contain mistakes. Review generated cards before relying on them; we are not responsible for inaccuracies in generated content.

Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription purchased through the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse, reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.
• Do not use the Service to store or share unlawful content.
• Do not resell or redistribute the Service or its AI output as your own product.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
